The cards that started it all.

DataMaster founder Rick Lifferth has been an appraiser for over forty years and is still actively appraising. Early in his career, he recognized the need for improvements in handling all the data appraisers use. He founded Market Data Service in 1980 and created a data co-op in Utah to share appraiser data — boxes of cards, each with specific property characteristics, that appraisers used to find comparable properties. The first electronic version of DataMaster came on the market in 1996.
