Inspection Photos

Place the inspection photos from the Files panel into the report: the house front and rear, the street, the garage and deck, and each room on all four levels.

Inspection Photos

We uploaded the inspection photos to the Files panel when we set up the assignment. Now we place them in the report: each photo goes in the section it supports. Open Files from the right-hand rail. Show just the photos, and switch to the grid so we can see them.

Front and rear

Start with the photo every report needs: the Dwelling Front. Open Dwelling Exterior, down to its exhibits. Drag the straight-on front photo from the panel onto the Dwelling Front slot. Dwelling Exterior was only waiting on that photo, so the section is now complete. Next, the rear of the house, with the garages and the decks above them. Drop it in beside the front, and set its type to Dwelling Rear.

Street scenes

In Site, Property Access needs a street scene photo. Drop the first street photo into its slot. We have two street photos, one looking each way along the row, so both go there.

Vehicle Storage and Amenities

In Vehicle Storage, the garage entry takes the photo of the garage's interior. And in Subject Property Amenities, the deck takes the rear photo too, since it shows the deck.

Room photos

In Unit Interior, each room in Level and Room Detail holds its own photos. On Level 1, select the office, and drop in its photo. On Level 2, the living room, the kitchen and the dining room each get their photo. Each photo lands in the room that's selected, so check the rail before you drop. Then the half bath. Kitchens and baths always need a photo. Level 3 has four rooms: two bedrooms and two full baths. Select each one in the rail, and drag its photo in. Level 4: the bedroom, and the full bath. That's a photo for every room in the house. One photo is left: the smoke detector. It goes in the Unit Interior exhibits, with a caption that says what it shows.

Highest and Best Use

The required photos are in place, and every room has its picture. Next, Highest and Best Use.
