Transcript
Sketch
The Sketch section holds a sketch or floor plan of the dwelling and any outbuildings, and the standard it was measured to. Open it from the section list.
We have one
Sketch or Floor Plan Provided is the one question that's always required. We uploaded a floor plan with the assignment's files, so answer Yes, and two more fields appear. Measurement Standard is how the areas were measured: ANSI, AMS, or Other, for example when state law requires a different standard. ANSI is the standard most appraisers measure to, and the one we use here, so choose ANSI. Any ANSI declarations the measurements need go in Sketch Commentary. We don't have any, so it stays empty.
From the Files panel
The sketch or floor plan goes in this gallery. It's already in the report's files, so open Files from the right-hand rail. Search for the floor plan, and drag it from the panel onto the gallery. The type tells the report how to caption the image: Sketch, or Floor Plan. Our image came from sketch software, so Sketch is right. We're using a sample sketch in this walkthrough, so we won't read out its numbers. On your own reports, the sketch's areas should agree with the living area you report.
Dwelling Exterior
That completes the Sketch section. Next, Dwelling Exterior.
